"The Original Safety Heart" ... If you have ever used a Bic lighter you would know that the lighter has a little piece of metal that is bent over the striker. That piece of metal is there to ensure that the lighter is child safe.. That child safety also sometimes gets in the way of adults as well.. If your like me you prefer your Bic lighter without the child safety (I know everybody takes them off and most of the time they just stick their car key in there and shoot it off across a room or shoot it on the floor somewhere becoming another piece of wasted metal and essentially litter). One day after removing my child safety and the child safety on my ex girlfriends lighter I put the pieces of metal next to each other on her desk and without even trying the two pieces created a heart shape. I told my girlfriend to come look and she didn't really care. Me being the thinker I am, I thought maybe there was a way to make that "Safety Heart" a working gift or symbol for love somehow? Well a few days went by and I began working on a way to permanently combine the two pieces of metal turning it into some kind of charm... but a charm for what? I thought about practical ways to sell my idea maybe put the safety hearts in a package and people could put them on a chain of their own or something, but then I remembered my ability to make hemp products like bracelets and necklaces... BINGO!! So I started making bracelets and using the recycled Safety Hearts as center pieces. To me, I thought it was a really cool idea and so far everyone else agrees.. the bracelets are the main product, but anybody can request a necklace of they want. The main function is to act as a promise charm for you and your significant other, you can order a matching custom pair for both of you. or you can buy one for someone serving in the military to show them you care and to encourage them to practice "SAFETY" same goes for the construction worker "Safety First".....
